In Spring 2021, together with Green Room Patrons, we’ll present Green Room LIVE, a series of free virtual events that brings us into conversation about language, nature, and imagination.
Green Room Patrons help us extend the reach of these rich conversations across the islands and the globe, and make it possible for us to offer three special events to all at no charge:
- Joy Harjo and Indigenous Pacific Islander Poets from When the Light of the World Was Subdued, Our Songs Came Through, Wednesday, April 21st, 3:00 PM Hawai‘i / 6:00 PM Pacific / 9:00 PM Eastern
- Jericho Brown, Saturday, May 29th, 2:00 PM Hawai‘i / 5:00 PM Pacific / 8:00 PM Eastern
- Ross Gay and Aimee Nezhukumatathil, Saturday, June 26th, 2:00 PM Hawai‘i / 5:00 PM Pacific / 8:00 PM Eastern
You can become a Green Room Patron at the link below with a gift of $150 or more. Upon receipt of your gift, we will register you for all three events, and send registration confirmations to the email address you provide.
To thank you for helping us take the Green Room far and wide and LIVE, we’ll send you a small gift of thanks, and a special 20% discount code to purchase our presenters’ books at da Shop: books and curiosities, one of our favorite local bookstores here in Hawai’i.
