Join us on Wednesday, December 5th at the Honolulu Museum of Art for our latest installment of The Green Room, a literary and environmental salon series that fosters a reverence for language, nature, and imagination in the community.
This intimate evening, a co-presentation with Honolulu Museum of Art, will feature LEWIS HYDE and MATTHEW ZAPRUDER in conversation; Hyde is author of The Gift, a MacArthur Fellow and renowned scholar, while Zapruder is an accomplished poet, translator and former poetry column editor of The New York Times. Their collaborative presentation will be an exploration of creative life, in all its complex, intricate, surprising dimensions. Their writing, both about the creative process and born of it, has shifted our understanding of what creativity makes possible.
Their presentation begins at 7:00pm in the Doris Duke Theatre at the Honolulu Museum of Art on Wednesday, December 5th.
Tickets are $20 per person, with a $15 ticket price for museum members, and are available at the museum, by phone at(808) 532-6097, or online when purchased in advance at this link: bit.ly/HydeZapruderHoMA
The evening is presented in partnership with Honolulu Museum of Art with additional support from Halekulani Hotel Atherton Family Foundation.
