The Merwin Conservancy is pleased to announce it has become an artist education partner for East Maui Watershed Partnership‘s Mālama Wao Akua native species art exhibition held at Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center.
The focus of this exhibition is to raise awareness about native species in Maui Nui. By offering several educational opportunities in conjunction with the show we hope that artists, young and old, can explore W.S. Merwin’s astounding assemblage of rare palms, including the native Pritchardia palms, and use their talents express the value these species have within our daily life.
