“My deepest hope is that my students will learn to take risks in their work.”
Camille has been the Director of the Theater Program at Kamehameha Schools Maui since 2004. A graduate of Southern Oregon University with a Masters in Theater Studies, Design, and Production, Camille also holds a Master of Education from the University of Phoenix and a BFA from the University of Hawaii, Manoa. Her teaching philosophy is to push students to expand their personal boundaries by exploring new perspectives. In 2016, she was selected to participate in a tri-campus program designed to create a network of leading educators engaged in developing innovative, personalized teaching practices. She was drawn to the fellowship program through her continuous desire to grow her craft and find ways to “incorporate aloha ‘aina” into her curriculum.
