The Raffia Palms (genus Raphia) are the palm trees with the largest leaves. The average leaves of the Raffia Palm tree usually between 2 and 20 feet long and 1 to 4 feet wide. But some Raffia Palm leaves can grow as much as 70 feet long and 19 feet wide. The Raffia Palm is native to the tropical regions of Africa and found widely in Madagascar, as well as in the tropics of South America and islands of the Indian Ocean.
